I'm Brent. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory of writing was age seven, slapping away at my parent’s typewriter to finish my first book in our home in northern California.

 

I lost track of the craft in my teenage years, and then rediscovered it in college.

 

In a way, writing seems to have chosen me, as if I tried to ignore it, but couldn’t quit it for anything else. I simply hadn’t realized how fulfilling and rewarding it was. So I dug in and never looked back.

 

I moved to England where I spent five wonderful years and received my undergrad and postgrad degrees in American literature and creative writing.​

Now, I write professionally in many different capacities, mostly in tech and entertainment.​​​

​

I've worked with businesses small and large to tell stories for ecommerce, digital security, telematics, fintech, manufacturing, and entertainment. 

​

​​As I look forward to the next phase in my career, I'm particularly drawn to organizations that fight for social good, and uplift underserved people and communities.​
